They were so great at Paradisus!
Thank you for all your help.
Yep!! We did a ziplining combo tour and a day at the spa!!
Great trip, resort was beautiful (but huge) you needed to use the golf cart system to get anywhere but I was close to the beach and dive shop and could walk there. Food was great (had lobster almost every night) and the room was nice. It’s sort of an Eco Resort so there was plenty of beautiful tree’s flowers etc. Dove every day and only had to pay for the dive trip I took to Catalina. All and all a good trip, would recommend this place.
We were picked up at the Acapulco airport and immediately driven the 4 hours to Ixtapa - a lovely coastal drive. We checked into the lovely Sol Melia, Ixtapa for a 4 night stay. It was great! Our room had a balcony which overlooked the ocean and Isla Ixtapa. The resort is located in a wonderful section which is opposite lovely Isla Ixtapa. You can walk just down the beach to the ferry dock which takes you across(5 minutes) to the island. You can spend the day snorkeling and enjoying the beaches and island. There are vendors selling food and palapas for rent.
Our next stop was back to Acapulco - we stayed at the magnificent Fairmont Acapulco Princess. What a glorious hotel! The pools are so much fun - everyone enjoyed themselves. I would recommend purchasing the meal plan - it was very nice and the food delicious. They had entertaining shows each night in the central lobby - we loved the resort mascot, the Golden Retreiver. You feel a bit as if you've stepped back in time at the Princess - what a treat!
